Clayton R. Smith founded FI Investments, LLC in
2004. From 1999 to 2004, he was a business
consultant. Prior to 1999, Mr. Smith was director of
USA Collegiate, Inc, where he worked with
investment bankers to design tax-exempt notes and
bonds used by colleges for capital improvements.
He also consulted college presidents and boards of
directors. Clay served five years as an officer in the
United States Air Force.
Clay received his BS from Brigham Young University
and his MBA degree from Creighton University. He
is Series 65 registered.
Clay is active in his church, enjoys flying an aircraft
he built (Van's RV-4), and sailing.
